“Many, many students have told us they not only found a summer position from attending the Spring Career Fair, but they also found a full-time position once they graduated,” says Kevin Fiessel, Manager of the U of R Career Centre. “Many of these employers are seeking talented students to hire upon graduation. The summer position can merely be a four-month ‘interview’ as we like to say. The student does well and the company offers them maybe a part-time job in September while the student finishes classes, and then a full-time position in January. You never know what a visit to the University of Regina Spring Career Fair will do for your career.”

The Spring Career Fair, 2018 edition, has become a magnet for some ofเครดิต ฟรี ถอน ได้ 2561 Canada’s top employers.

More than 100 employers will set up tables with company representatives who can answer students’ questions.

The jobs offered include summer, part-time, full-time,   co-op, internships, practicums, fieldwork and volunteer opportunities.

For employers, the fair is one-stop shopping to connect with highly motivated, educated workers.

“Companies love recruiting and hiring University of Regina students. The U of R Career Centre regularly places over 800 students a year in Co-op and Internship positions,” says Fiessel. “When you add in the numbers of summer students hired at the Spring Career Fair, I am sure we are well over 1,000 students placed in any given year. These employers are here on campus every year to hire our students – and they are coming out in greater numbers than ever before.”

If you’re wishing to connect with potential employers, then the Career Fair might be your ticket to employment.
